Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business Management, Finance Management, Banking, or a related field from a recognized university or professional institution.
  • Diploma in Banking & Finance or Diploma in Applied Banking & Finance (DABF) from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the Banking or Finance sector.
  • Proven experience in sales management within a multi-product banking environment.
  • Strong understanding of branch operations and financial services.
  • Sound knowledge of the demographics and business environment within the branch’s service area.
  • Experience in building relationships with business communities, government institutions, private sector organizations, and social groups.

  • Lead and implement the branch’s business strategy in line with organizational objectives.
  • Drive profitability, market share growth, and business development initiatives.
  • Develop and achieve branch sales targets and performance goals.
  • Manage and motivate branch staff to achieve operational excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and banking standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support business growth.
  • Monitor branch performance and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to branch employees.
