Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business Management, Finance Management, Banking, or a related field from a recognized university or professional institution.
- Diploma in Banking & Finance or Diploma in Applied Banking & Finance (DABF) from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in the Banking or Finance sector.
- Proven experience in sales management within a multi-product banking environment.
- Strong understanding of branch operations and financial services.
- Sound knowledge of the demographics and business environment within the branch’s service area.
- Experience in building relationships with business communities, government institutions, private sector organizations, and social groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement the branch’s business strategy in line with organizational objectives.
- Drive profitability, market share growth, and business development initiatives.
- Develop and achieve branch sales targets and performance goals.
- Manage and motivate branch staff to achieve operational excellence.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and banking standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support business growth.
- Monitor branch performance and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency.
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to branch employees.
