Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Heavy Vehicle (H/V) Driving Licence.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a lorry driver.
- Good knowledge of Sri Lankan road networks and transportation routes.
- Age between 25 and 45 years.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and vehicle operation.
- Ability to maintain accurate transport and delivery records.
- Good physical fitness and ability to handle transportation-related duties.
- Previous experience in goods transportation and logistics will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate company lorries safely and efficiently for transportation of goods.
- Ensure timely delivery of products to designated destinations.
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips.
- Report vehicle maintenance requirements and mechanical issues promptly.
- Maintain delivery records and transport documentation accurately.
- Comply with all traffic regulations and company transportation policies.
- Ensure the safety and security of goods during transit.
- Support loading and unloading activities when required.
