Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or NDT in OHS will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of local environmental and occupational safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental regulations.
- Implement and maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems across operations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Organize safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
- Investigate workplace accidents and incidents and recommend preventive actions.
- Monitor and report sustainability KPIs, including energy, water, and waste management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to EHS and sustainability performance.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure all statutory requirements are fulfilled.
