Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • CA, ACCA, or CIMA (Partly or Fully Qualified) will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in the trading sector will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple financial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle payments and maintain expenses within approved budgets.
  • Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and monthly management review reports.
  • Process sales commissions and incentive payments.
  • Verify and authorize payment vouchers and petty cash transactions.
  • Monitor daily collections, dealer discounts, and sales orders.
  • Prepare accrual journals and financial reports.
  • Coordinate with stores and manage annual stock verification activities.
  • Follow up on unreconciled bank deposits and support internal financial controls.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting procedures.
