Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in construction management or related engineering roles.
- In-depth knowledge of contemporary construction methods, material testing, safety standards, and local building regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily civil engineering and construction activities on-site to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Interpret structural, architectural, and MEP drawings, ensuring all work strictly conforms to approved technical specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and on-site labour teams to streamline project workflows.
- Monitor project milestones, prepare daily/weekly site progress logs, and report operational status to senior management.
- Oversee material requests, inspect inbound construction materials, and manage site inventory to prevent project delays.
- Identify on-site engineering challenges or structural discrepancies and resolve them promptly with sound technical solutions.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in project management software and the MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and sharp attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven capability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple site priorities simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, team management, and site coordination capabilities.
