Qualifications & Experience
Assistant Biomedical Engineer / Senior Biomedical Technologist
- Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience in the hospital or healthcare sector.
- Age below 45 years.
- Physically and medically fit to perform duties, including night shifts when required.
- Strong technical knowledge of medical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with hospital systems and healthcare technology.
Biomedical Technician
- Diploma or Certificate in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in hospital equipment maintenance.
- Experience in preventive maintenance and equipment troubleshooting.
- Ability to respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair requirements.
- Willingness to work shifts when required.
Key Responsibilities
Assistant Biomedical Engineer / Senior Biomedical Technologist
- Manage and maintain medical equipment and healthcare technology systems.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and technical diagnostics.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Ensure medical equipment safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Support procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of medical devices.
- Maintain maintenance records and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams regarding equipment requirements.
Biomedical Technician
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance of hospital equipment.
- Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns.
- Assist in equipment installation and commissioning activities.
- Maintain maintenance logs and service records.
- Support emergency repair requirements.
- Ensure proper functioning of medical devices and related systems.
