Qualifications & Experience

  • BSc in Mechanical Engineering, NDT in Mechanical Engineering, or NVQ Level 4 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a factory or industrial maintenance environment will be an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and factory machinery.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, servo drives, and pneumatic systems.
  • Knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) implementation will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities to minimize equipment breakdowns and downtime.
  • Oversee spare parts scheduling and inventory management to ensure operational continuity.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Monitor maintenance KPIs including MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time to Repair).
  • Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure work is completed safely and on schedule.
  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvement projects.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and audit documentation.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Continuously improve maintenance procedures and equipment reliability.
