Qualifications & Experience
- NDT, HNDE, NVQ Level 5, Diploma in Civil Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in building construction projects.
- Prior experience in apartment construction projects will be an added advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
- Good understanding of reinforcement work, masonry, plastering, tiling, and finishing works.
- Strong site coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with subcontractors, supervisors, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities, including structural and finishing works.
- Ensure correct implementation of site layouts and approved construction drawings.
- Coordinate and monitor the activities of subcontractors and skilled workers.
- Report technical, construction, and quality-related issues to the Site Engineer.
- Monitor material usage and assist in controlling site resources.
- Maintain basic site records and construction documentation.
- Assist with site inspections and site-level measurements.
- Ensure work is completed according to quality standards and project specifications.
- Support the project team in maintaining construction schedules and progress targets.
