Qualifications & Experience
- Successfully completed the G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) Examination.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in motor insurance claims within a general insurance company.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Tamil and Sinhala.
- Diploma or Degree in Insurance will be considered an added advantage.
- Good understanding of motor insurance principles and claims procedures.
- Knowledge of customer service practices within the insurance industry.
- Ability to manage claims operations and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee motor claims operations within the assigned region.
- Ensure timely settlement and efficient processing of motor insurance claims.
- Monitor claims performance, leakage, loss ratios, and fraud risks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle escalated claims and provide effective resolutions.
- Coordinate with internal departments, branch teams, assessors, and external stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare management reports and performance analyses.
- Guide and support branch-level claims staff to maintain service quality standards.
- Ensure excellent customer service throughout the claims handling process.
