Qualifications & Experience

  • G.C.E. A/L qualification or equivalent.
  • Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or a related role.
  • Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and billing procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
  • Experience using accounting software will be an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner.
  • Verify and review billing data, price lists, and contracts before invoicing.
  • Maintain billing records, files, and documentation in an organized manner.
  • Follow up on outstanding customer payments and support collection activities.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Process credit notes, debit notes, and other billing adjustments as required.
  • Support month-end closing activities and prepare billing reports.
  • Coordinate with sales, finance, and operational departments to ensure smooth billing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and billing procedures.
