Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Graduates from the University of Moratuwa or University of Peradeniya are preferred.
- Strong understanding of building construction principles and structural engineering fundamentals.
- Previous experience in engineering drawings, reinforcement design, and detailing will be an advantage.
- Experience using Tekla Structures or similar construction-related software is desirable.
- Good command of English and effective communication skills.
- Self-motivated personality with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a professional team environment.
- Candidates residing within reasonable commuting distance of Malabe are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and develop concrete and steel engineering drawings using Tekla Structures software.
- Design reinforcement for precast concrete elements using Tekla Structures.
- Perform detailing and modeling of concrete and steel components in various building structures.
- Assist in structural drafting and engineering documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Support construction design projects following engineering standards and best practices.
- Maintain accuracy and quality in structural models and technical drawings.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of local and international engineering projects.
