Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, or financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial compliance requirements.
- Experience in preparing financial statements, budgets, and management reports.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or Oracle ERP.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
- Experience handling tax filings, audits, and regulatory submissions.
- Experience supervising junior accounting staff will be an added advantage.
- Experience in handling US-based accounting functions will be a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and management reports.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate tax filings, audits, and regulatory submissions.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management.
- Monitor internal controls and support risk management initiatives.
- Maintain accounting records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support continuous improvements in accounting and financial reporting processes.
- Supervise and guide junior accounting staff when required.
