Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of banking experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a credit-related role.
- Full or part qualification in Banking, Credit Management, International Trade, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to understand and interpret financial statements.
- Outgoing personality with a flair for marketing and customer relationship management.
- Ability to work independently and achieve branch credit targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet new customers and provide suitable financial solutions based on their requirements.
- Assist the Branch Manager in achieving annual credit growth targets and business objectives.
- Prepare credit proposals, financial analyses, risk assessments, and related documentation.
- Liaise with the bank’s credit approval authorities to obtain timely approvals.
- Participate in customer visits and meetings together with the Branch Manager or Relationship Manager.
- Conduct periodic reviews of revolving and other credit facilities.
- Monitor branch credit portfolios and provide solutions to customers facing repayment challenges.
- Support business development activities and contribute to branch growth initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
