Qualifications & Experience
- HND (Civil), NDT, NDES, or an equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum five (05) years of experience in road construction projects.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering and road construction methodologies.
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist engineers in the execution and supervision of road construction activities.
- Monitor daily site operations and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Maintain project records, reports, and technical documentation.
- Assist in quality control and site inspections.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring activities.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and construction regulations.
- Identify and report site issues and recommend corrective actions.
Required Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of road construction and civil engineering practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in project documentation and site coordination.
