Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Fully or Partly Qualified in ICASL, CIMA, ACCA, or Fully Qualified in AAT.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial management principles.
- Experience in taxation and statutory compliance matters.
- Computer literacy in ERP systems, Microsoft Office applications, and accounting software.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Oracle systems will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication skills in English and Sinhala.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements within specified deadlines.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Ensure timely completion and submission of tax-related documentation and requirements.
- Prepare payment vouchers and coordinate payments with Head Office.
- Liaise with the Inland Revenue Department, auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal departments on financial matters.
- Handle utility and statutory payments including electricity, telecommunications, EPF, and ETF payments.
- Perform financial analysis and reporting activities as required by management.
- Manage urgent finance-related matters and support operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
