Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related quantitative discipline from a recognized university.
- Final-year undergraduate students are also encouraged to apply.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel and VBA programming.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in actuarial science, insurance, and financial modelling.
- Prior exposure to statistical or analytical software will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in data preparation and data validation activities.
- Support actuarial data analysis and experience investigations, including mortality, morbidity, lapse, and expense studies.
- Participate in actuarial model development using Excel VBA and actuarial tools.
- Assist with policy administration system testing and validation activities.
- Support statutory valuation and regulatory reporting processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of actuarial analyses and findings.
- Collaborate with actuarial team members on ongoing projects and business initiatives.
- Contribute to process improvement and data quality enhancement activities.
