Qualifications & Experience
- Passed G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) in the Bio-Science stream
- BSc Degree or Diploma in Biomedical Sciences or a related field
- Previous laboratory experience will be an added advantage
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Willingness to work on a roster basis
- Strong commitment to quality and accuracy in laboratory work
- Preference will be given to candidates residing close to Horana
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in performing laboratory tests and procedures
- Prepare and handle laboratory specimens according to established protocols
- Maintain laboratory records and documentation accurately
- Support quality assurance and quality control activities
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Follow laboratory safety standards and infection control procedures
- Assist senior laboratory personnel with daily operations
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and laboratory results
- Contribute to efficient laboratory workflow and service delivery
