Qualifications & Experience
- Completed G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) in the Science stream.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Lab Assistant in a reputed school or educational institution.
- Proficiency in spoken English and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining laboratory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and materials for science experiments.
- Assist teachers and students during practical laboratory sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory procedures and experiment results.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of laboratory chemicals and materials.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of laboratory facilities.
- Manage laboratory inventory and coordinate replenishment of supplies.
- Conduct routine checks of laboratory equipment and report maintenance requirements.
- Follow laboratory safety guidelines and ensure compliance with school policies.
- Support the effective operation of science laboratories and practical learning activities.
