Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant Certificate or Diploma from a recognized vocational training institution.
- Completion of a mechanical apprenticeship program.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to inspect mechanical and electrical components to accurately diagnose issues.
- Experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of welding and plumbing will be an added advantage.
- Applicants should be between 25 and 45 years of age.
- Previous experience in textile or industrial manufacturing environments is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Inspect mechanical systems and components to identify faults and operational issues.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and carry out necessary repairs.
- Assist in maintaining optimal machine performance and production efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks.
- Support installation and servicing of mechanical equipment.
- Maintain maintenance records and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety and maintenance procedures.
