Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the banking sector.
- Passed G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) examination.
- Full or part professional qualification in Banking will be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of trade finance products and banking procedures.
- Understanding of front-office and back-office banking processes.
- Knowledge of Core Banking Systems and related procedures.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and banking compliance requirements.
- Understanding of SWIFT messages and trade finance operations.
- Good planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and computer literacy.
- Preferred age between 25 and 30 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inputting and processing functions for trade finance products including Letters of Credit (LC), Collections, Advance Payments, Open Accounts, and Bank Guarantees.
- Ensure trade transactions are processed according to bank procedures and policies.
- Scrutinize, verify, and file trade-related documents accurately.
- Correspond directly with branches regarding trade transactions and operational matters.
- Ensure compliance with trade procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct product screening, HS Code verification, name clearance checks, dual-use screening, and Trade KYC processes.
- Maintain accurate records of trade transactions and supporting documentation.
- Support operational efficiency within the trade processing function.
