Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations Management, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing or fabrication operations, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in aluminium fabrication, steel fabrication, construction, or manufacturing industries will be highly advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, people management, and team development skills.
  • Good understanding of production planning, quality management systems, inventory management, and workplace safety.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working with ERP systems will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and oversee daily factory operations and production activities.
  • Monitor workflow, productivity, and resource utilization to achieve operational targets.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Monitor raw material availability and coordinate procurement requirements.
  • Ensure effective inventory management while minimizing material wastage.
  • Coordinate with stores and procurement teams to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Procurement, and Site Teams.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure seamless coordination between factory and site operations.
  • Prepare operational reports, production summaries, and performance analyses.
  • Monitor operational costs and support budget management initiatives.
  • Report key factory performance metrics to senior management.
  • Ensure manufacturing activities comply with quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance teams to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and implement corrective actions.
