Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations Management, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing or fabrication operations, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in aluminium fabrication, steel fabrication, construction, or manufacturing industries will be highly advantageous.
- Strong leadership, people management, and team development skills.
- Good understanding of production planning, quality management systems, inventory management, and workplace safety.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working with ERP systems will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily factory operations and production activities.
- Monitor workflow, productivity, and resource utilization to achieve operational targets.
- Drive continuous process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- Monitor raw material availability and coordinate procurement requirements.
- Ensure effective inventory management while minimizing material wastage.
- Coordinate with stores and procurement teams to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Procurement, and Site Teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure seamless coordination between factory and site operations.
- Prepare operational reports, production summaries, and performance analyses.
- Monitor operational costs and support budget management initiatives.
- Report key factory performance metrics to senior management.
- Ensure manufacturing activities comply with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and implement corrective actions.
