Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and test design principles
- Experience developing and implementing QA processes and frameworks
- Proven ability to establish quality assurance practices from the ground up
- Experience working in agile software development environments
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive software testing strategies
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated testing frameworks
- Collaborate with development and product teams to identify and resolve software issues
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage across multiple projects and releases
- Review code and automation scripts to maintain quality standards
- Lead test planning, execution, and reporting activities
- Establish and promote QA best practices, tools, and documentation standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the software development lifecycle
- Ensure software reliability, performance, security, and scalability requirements are met
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium and JUnit
- Proficiency in scripting and test automation
- Test planning, execution, and defect management expertise
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with quality assurance frameworks and best practices
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills
