Qualifications & Experience
- NVQ Level 4, Diploma, HND, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in quantity surveying, estimating, or the construction/project sector will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimation processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and quantity surveying software will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates based on project drawings and specifications.
- Assist in preparing quotations, project proposals, and commercial documentation.
- Review project requirements and provide accurate material estimations.
- Coordinate with Project Sales, Technical, and Operations teams to ensure costing accuracy.
- Monitor project variations and update cost estimates when required.
- Maintain project records, cost schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Support tender submissions and project-related commercial evaluations.
- Ensure all estimates and documentation comply with company standards and project requirements.
