Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Higher National Diploma in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in quantity surveying within construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of measurement principles, contract administration, and project cost control.
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bills of quantities.
- Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
- Evaluate contractor and subcontractor claims and payment applications.
- Assist in contract administration and procurement processes.
- Prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
- Conduct cost analysis and financial reporting for project management.
- Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial requirements.
- Coordinate with project teams to support successful project execution.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of quantity surveying principles and practices.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of construction contracts and commercial management.
- Proficiency in measurement and cost estimation techniques.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Good organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
