Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in apartment or commercial construction projects.
- Strong ability to read and extract quantities accurately from technical drawings.
- Knowledge of local construction rates, materials, and billing formats.
- Experience in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and subcontractor evaluations.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and CostX software.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and interim bill preparation based on finalized drawings.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and detailed material calculations.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison reports.
- Conduct regular site visits to verify quantities and assess execution feasibility.
- Monitor material consumption and reconcile site usage reports.
- Identify and resolve construction-related discrepancies within project timelines.
- Coordinate with site engineers and management teams regarding valuations and progress claims.
- Support project cost control and financial tracking activities.
- Ensure timely preparation of project-related quantity surveying documentation.
