Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate, Diploma, or NVQ qualification in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Experience in Solar PV installation and maintenance will be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, solar equipment, and renewable energy technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work at heights and travel to project sites when required.
- A valid driving license will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work safely while following company procedures and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems.
- Perform electrical wiring, testing, and commissioning of solar installations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
- Diagnose and repair faults in solar panels, inverters, batteries, and associated equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures.
- Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
- Support project teams to ensure reliable and efficient system performance.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in accordance with safety regulations.
