HNB General Insurance Limited is seeking a results-driven Cluster Manager for its Trincomalee region under the Distribution Division. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the performance of the assigned cluster, driving sales growth, coaching agents, ensuring operational compliance, and implementing strategies to achieve business objectives across the territory.

Key Responsibilities
- Visit low-performing agents and Marketing Executives (MEs) within the assigned cluster and provide on-the-job coaching to improve performance.
- Monitor, control, and follow up on activities within the cluster to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
- Manage the overall performance of the allocated territory by setting targets, evaluating performance metrics, and implementing improvement strategies.
- Provide guidance and support to sales staff to help them achieve targets and maximize productivity.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
- Identify performance gaps within the cluster and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential threats.
- Promote teamwork, collaboration, and professional development within the cluster.
- Act as a liaison between management and field teams regarding company goals, policies, and expectations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry developments and best practices to improve cluster performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) qualification.
- Professional qualification in Sales or Marketing or a Bachelor’s Degree will be preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance distribution management.
- Experience in sales team management and performance monitoring.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Fluency in all three languages (Sinhala, Tamil, and English) will be considered an added advantage.
- Experience in developing and implementing training programs for agents.
- Strong leadership and performance management experience.
