Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized university or professional body.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Banking or Finance sector.
- Proven experience in Credit Management, Marketing, Cash Management, Liability Management, and Value Chain Financing.
- Strong exposure to Business Banking and SME Banking segments.
- Sound understanding of financial statements and commercial banking operations.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a proven record of delivering results.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong professional relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and operationalize business banking strategies and initiatives.
- Formulate, direct, and monitor plans to achieve business banking objectives.
- Drive growth in assets, liabilities, and fee-based income within the business banking portfolio.
- Develop and manage relationships with SME and business banking customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the bank’s client base.
- Analyze customer financial information and recommend suitable banking solutions.
- Monitor portfolio performance and ensure achievement of assigned targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the Business Banking Unit.
