Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or data entry operations will be an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good leadership and team coordination abilities.
- Hands-on experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS) or similar platforms is preferred.
- Familiarity with transport and logistics operations will be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze delivery data, outlet volumes, and route schedules to optimize transport operations.
- Monitor transport management system (TMS) performance and operational efficiency.
- Plan vehicle capacity requirements and support route optimization initiatives.
- Implement cost-effective transport solutions to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Manage relationships with transport service providers, suppliers, and customers.
- Monitor service levels and resolve operational issues according to company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan transport regulations, HSE policies, and internal audit requirements.
- Coordinate the renewal of transport-related licenses and approvals.
- Train and monitor drivers and helpers on company policies, safety standards, and driving practices.
- Utilize GPS and operational data to improve performance and address non-compliance issues.
- Maintain accurate transport records and operational data entry processes.
