Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, warehouse management, or dispatch operations.
- Experience in food and beverage, hospitality, retail, manufacturing, or distribution sectors will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of inventory control procedures and stock management practices.
- Experience with stock movement documentation and dispatch processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
- Good communication skills in Sinhala and English.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet daily operational deadlines.
- G.C.E. Advanced Level qualification is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming stock and supplies.
- Maintain inventory records and monitor stock movements.
- Prepare and issue stocks to cafés and production departments based on approved requisitions.
- Coordinate and manage the daily dispatch of products, ingredients, and supplies to all locations.
- Ensure dispatch quantities match approved documents and delivery notes.
- Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits.
- Monitor inventory levels and report replenishment requirements.
- Ensure proper storage practices, stock rotation, and FIFO procedures.
- Investigate and report stock discrepancies and inventory variances.
- Prepare inventory, stock movement, and dispatch reports.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure store environment.
