Qualifications & Experience

  • Prior experience in sourcing and procurement of packing materials, machinery spare parts, hardware items, and welfare items.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven work experience, including at least 2 years in a similar procurement role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to supply chain management best practices and procurement processes.
  • Diploma or equivalent professional qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience evaluating suppliers and managing supplier relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source packing materials, machinery spare parts, hardware items, and welfare-related supplies.
  • Assist in strategic sourcing initiatives by analyzing demand trends and supply market conditions.
  • Identify alternative suppliers and evaluate supplier performance.
  • Analyze cost-effective bulk purchasing opportunities and coordinate procurement activities.
  • Ensure timely availability of materials while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Raise purchase orders and coordinate with warehouse teams regarding purchase orders and goods received notes.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and service quality.
  • Maintain supplier records, compliance certificates, licenses, and documentation.
  • Update and manage supplier databases in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement and supply chain management.
