Qualifications & Experience
- Qualification in the Insurance field is mandatory.
- Degree or Diploma in Insurance or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in insurance coordination, policy administration, or claims management.
- Good understanding of insurance documentation and policy administration processes.
- Knowledge of claims handling procedures and insurance compliance requirements.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Candidates from the Ratnapura area will be given preference.
- Preferred age below 45 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer all insurance policies of the Group.
- Handle insurance renewals in accordance with company procedures and timelines.
- Maintain insurance schedules, premium records, policy files, and related documentation.
- Coordinate and follow up on insurance claims from incident reporting through settlement and case closure.
- Liaise with insurance companies, financial institutions, and internal departments regarding insurance matters.
- Prepare periodic reports on renewals, claims, outstanding matters, and insurance cost analysis for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, audit requirements, and confidentiality standards.
- Maintain accurate insurance records and support risk management initiatives.
