Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university in Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications in Finance, Investments, Capital Markets, or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a reputed bank, finance company, stockbroking firm, investment company, or financial institution.
- Alternatively, a recognized Diploma with G.C.E. Advanced Level and 3 years of executive-level experience in a relevant field.
- Alternatively, G.C.E. Ordinary Level qualification with 5 years of executive-level experience in a relevant field.
- Experience in investment management, portfolio management, financial analysis, or capital market operations is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the MBSL equity portfolio covering trading and investment activities.
- Oversee MBSL client portfolio management operations and maintain portfolio profitability.
- Conduct Investment Committee meetings and provide relevant insights.
- Monitor and update investment portfolios while making timely buy and sell recommendations.
- Prepare reports related to Corporate Advisory and Capital Market functions.
- Coordinate matters relating to the Integrated Risk Management Committee and portfolio operations.
- Support the annual re-composition of the Mid Cap Index.
- Promote Corporate Advisory and Capital Market business opportunities to achieve business targets.
- Conduct business valuations and financial analysis.
- Monitor market trends, investment opportunities, and portfolio performance.
