Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Equivalent professional experience may also be considered.
- Strong experience in Java software development.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
- Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and web services.
- Experience using Git version control systems.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Integrate applications with databases and third-party services.
- Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities.
