The role involves reviewing insurance proposals, monitoring business processes, handling proposal-related transactions, and ensuring compliance with underwriting and approval guidelines while maintaining high operational accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow up on pending proposal applications and ensure timely processing.
  • Review and recommend decisions for new insurance proposals.
  • Monitor and review benchmark monitoring reports.
  • Handle proposal refunds, fund utilization activities, and medical payment verifications.
  • Conduct random checks on policy schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Review proposal files and recommend approval or escalate applications to the appropriate authority level in accordance with the Matrix of Financial Authority (MOFA).
  • Maintain accurate records and support efficient new business processing operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and underwriting guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

  • G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) qualification.
  • Insurance Foundation Certificate (IFC) conducted by SLII or AII qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience, preferably with at least 1 year of experience in the insurance industry.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
