Job Overview

HNB Life PLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Insurance Associate to support underwriting and insurance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing insurance proposals, coordinating premium refund arrangements, following up on pending cases, preparing operational reports, and ensuring smooth service delivery through effective coordination with branch teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Underwrite insurance proposals in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Process and coordinate premium refund arrangements.
  • Follow up on pending cases and ensure timely completion.
  • Prepare routine underwriting and operational reports.
  • Coordinate with branch teams to facilitate smooth service delivery.
  • Maintain accuracy and compliance in underwriting processes.
  • Support daily operational activities within the insurance department.

Qualifications & Experience

  • G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) qualification.
  • Insurance Foundation Certificate (IFC) or AII qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 1 year and 6 months of work experience.
  • Prior experience in the insurance industry will be preferred.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines.
