Job Overview

HNB Life PLC is seeking a dynamic and creative Junior Propagandist / Propaganda Executive to support the company’s promotional and brand-building initiatives. The role involves coordinating marketing campaigns, managing promotional activities, developing communication materials, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to enhance brand awareness and generate business leads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create awareness through promotional activities and generate leads to support business growth.
  • Develop and maintain a database of leads generated through company promotional activities and branch initiatives.
  • Plan and implement promotional and communication campaigns aligned with the company’s brand strategy.
  • Assist in creating communication materials, including brochures, flyers, videos, and digital content.
  • Coordinate with advertising agencies, media contacts, and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of promotional materials.
  • Support the execution of promotional events, CSR initiatives, press conferences, exhibitions, and sponsorship activities.
  • Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with communication objectives.
  • Handle administrative and logistical aspects related to promotional and marketing activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing communications, brand promotion, public relations, or a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Sinhala and Tamil language skills will be an added advantage.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with design software and digital marketing tools will be an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
