Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HR management.
- Previous experience within the hospitality, café, restaurant, or hotel industry is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of Sri Lankan labor laws and HR best practices.
- Experience managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR management systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information professionally.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Oversee employee relations and professionally resolve workplace concerns and grievances.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee performance and skills.
- Manage attendance records, leave administration, and employee documentation.
- Support departmental managers with workforce planning and talent management initiatives.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance on employee development.
- Promote employee engagement and foster a positive work environment.
- Prepare HR reports and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
