Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Valid registration with the Sri Lanka Nursing Council (SLNC) and Private Health Services Regulatory Council (PHSRC).
- Minimum 10 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory, managerial, or leadership role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
- Proven experience in hospital operations and patient care management.
- Ability to effectively manage emergencies and critical incidents.
- Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hospital-wide clinical leadership during night duty shifts.
- Ensure safe staffing levels and smooth hospital operations throughout the night.
- Coordinate emergency and critical incident management.
- Conduct regular hospital rounds and monitor patient safety standards.
- Liaise with consultants, nursing teams, and support departments.
- Supervise nursing staff and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Address operational and clinical concerns that arise during night shifts.
- Support continuous quality improvement initiatives and patient care excellence.
- Maintain effective communication between departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
