Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Insurance, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Professional qualifications in Risk Management, Insurance, Internal Audit, Compliance, or related disciplines will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Risk Management, Internal Audit, Compliance, or a related function.
- Experience within the Insurance or Financial Services sector is preferred.
- Sound understanding of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) principles and risk assessment methodologies.
- Knowledge of insurance industry regulations and governance requirements will be advantageous.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing and maintaining the company’s Risk Management Framework.
- Identify, assess, monitor, and report operational, financial, strategic, and compliance risks across the organization.
- Conduct risk assessments and prepare risk registers for departments and business units.
- Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures.
- Facilitate periodic risk reviews and follow up on risk mitigation action plans.
- Assist in developing and updating risk management policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Prepare risk reports and presentations for management, committees, and the Board.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements issued by relevant authorities and applicable regulations.
- Support business continuity planning and operational resilience initiatives.
- Promote risk awareness and a strong risk-conscious culture throughout the organization.
