Qualifications & Experience
- Fully qualified in CIMA (UK), CMA Sri Lanka, or possess a Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Management Accounting, Costing, Financial Analysis, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with ERP accounting systems and financial reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of management reporting and business performance analysis.
- Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable business insights.
- Experience working within a corporate or FMCG environment will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Marketing function and cross-functional teams to support commercial and strategic decision-making.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, month-end management reporting, and performance reporting processes.
- Conduct financial analysis related to pricing, costing structures, profitability, and business performance.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities that support business growth and profitability improvements.
- Work closely with Financial and Management Accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare management reports and business performance analyses for key stakeholders.
- Support business partnering initiatives by providing financial insights and recommendations.
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making through data-driven analysis.
Required Skills
- Strong financial analysis and management accounting expertise.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prepare and interpret management reports.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, costing, and profitability analysis.
- Experience with ERP accounting systems and reporting platforms.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
