Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in airline ticketing, airfare management, or travel operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Galileo/Travelport, and Sabre.
- Previous leadership or team supervisory experience in a ticketing environment is highly preferred.
- Excellent understanding of airline fare construction and ticketing procedures.
- Experience handling reissues, refunds, EMD processing, and fare rule compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
- Excellent communication and team management abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the Airfares & Ticketing team to ensure operational excellence.
- Price travel itineraries accurately using GDS platforms.
- Issue airline tickets and ensure compliance with airline fare rules.
- Handle ticket reissues, date changes, rerouting requests, and fare recalculations.
- Process ticket refunds and Electronic Miscellaneous Documents (EMDs).
- Monitor ticketing queues and resolve Passenger Name Record (PNR) issues.
- Verify ticketing accuracy before final issuance.
- Guide and mentor junior ticketing staff on industry best practices.
- Train team members on GDS systems and ticketing procedures.
- Ensure consistency, quality standards, and compliance with airline regulations.
- Minimize ADM (Agency Debit Memo) risks through accurate fare application and ticketing processes.
