Qualifications & Experience
- BA Degree in Sociology or an equivalent recognized qualification
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Experience in community engagement, stakeholder management, or social development projects will be an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and stakeholders
- Good organizational and reporting skills
Key Responsibilities
- Support community engagement and stakeholder communication activities
- Assist in implementing social development and community relations programs
- Coordinate with local communities, authorities, and project stakeholders
- Address community concerns and facilitate effective communication channels
- Prepare social impact reports and project-related documentation
- Monitor and evaluate social initiatives associated with project activities
- Support awareness programs, consultations, and stakeholder meetings
- Ensure compliance with social safeguards and project requirements
- Maintain accurate records of community engagement activities
- Assist project management teams in fostering positive community relationships
