Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in savings and deposits mobilization, sales, and marketing within a bank or financial institution.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Marketing, Banking, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
- Alternatively, candidates who have passed G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) with full or part professional qualifications in SLIM, CIM, CIMA, or equivalent will be considered.
- Strong understanding of fixed deposit products and customer acquisition strategies.
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in English and Sinhala.
- Ability to communicate in Tamil will be a distinct advantage.
- Strong public relations and customer relationship management abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and mobilize fixed deposit business from individual and corporate customers.
- Develop and implement sales plans in line with management objectives.
- Follow up on customer inquiries and provide suitable deposit solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve business efficiency and deposit growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Coordinate with branch teams to achieve business targets.
- Organize and participate in promotional campaigns and business development activities.
- Support the execution of corporate strategies related to deposit mobilization.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
- Prepare reports and updates on sales performance and customer acquisition activities.
